SEPTEMBER Tecumseh Arts Festival Fri. Sept. 7, Sat. Sept. 8 and Sun. Sept. 9 A weekend of Aboriginal, First Nation storytelling, site-specific artworks, food, dance, drumming and skills/learning workshops for young people. This year it honours the life and spirit of the great Shawnee leader Tecumseh, the visionary warrior some historians describe as “the man who saved Canada”. He died in battle in October, 1813.
